A few days ago , rumors about Fujifilm X100VI appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo , but since these are the first reports, it is worth treating them with a critical eye.
Fujifilm is preparing to meet the crazy demand for the X100 that has been seen since TikTokers turned the X100 into their status camera. The X100VI is rumored to use the same lens as the X100V and will still lack optical image stabilization (OIS). It is expected that the camera will be released on the 20th of February, most likely in time for the CP+ exhibition (02/22–25/2024).
It is expected that a new Fujinon XF16-50mm F2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens will be introduced along with the X100VI , which will replace Fujifilm’s first stock lens. News about the Fujifilm X-Pro4 and X-E5 may also appear around the same time .
