The CrinEar Daybreak is a newly designed in-ear headphone, custom-tuned by Crinacle, aimed at providing an accurate and neutral sound experience. This model marks the first mass-market release under his personal brand, created from years of analytical measurements and acoustic testing. The sound of the Daybreak is no coincidence: it adheres to the contemporary IEF 2025 preference curve, delivering a smooth and natural audio profile with a focus on precise midrange, clean and targeted bass, and a well-controlled yet detailed upper range—striving to replicate the sound quality of studio monitors.
Inside the enclosure, a complex three-component system of five drivers operates: one dynamic driver is responsible for deep bass frequencies, two balanced armature drivers deliver natural, lively midrange frequencies, and a pair of microplanar tweeters extend the upper range with special transparency. All drivers are connected via a carefully designed 3D-printed waveguide structure that reduces phase and crossover distortion, optimizing the behavior of each driver in the overall sound space.
The body is made of medical resin material and is completely filled inside – this design increases acoustic stability and reduces parasitic resonances. Thanks to the ergonomic shape with an individual profile, Daybreak sits comfortably in the ears and provides good passive noise isolation. The diameter of the aluminum sound guide is less than 6 mm, which makes the model compatible with most standard tips.
The kit includes a cable made of four-core silver-plated copper with a modular connector system – the box already contains both 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm connectors. The cable is connected according to the 2-pin 0.78 mm standard, so replacing it with an alternative in the future will not be difficult.
