Zorin Audio, a Taiwanese manufacturer renowned for its premium vinyl audio products, including turntables, tonearms, and ION-based static eliminators, presents the TP-S5 model, which it categorizes as “mid-range.” However, a glance at the solid aluminum plinth suggests that Zorin Audio may be underselling its capabilities. The platter boasts a weight of 12 kg, and the turntable is designed to accommodate up to three tonearms.
The platter is powered by a single AC synchronous motor through a belt mechanism. Users can manually select playback speeds of either 33⅓ or 45 rpm. The turntable features a robust all-metal base designed for compatibility with a three-point support column.
Additional characteristics of the Zorin Audio TP-S5 turntable comprise a matte surface, a power supply compatible with 110/220 V at 50/60 Hz, and the option to swap out the power cable. The turntable measures 490 x 175 x 390 mm and has a weight of 24 kg.
