The McIntosh MA352 integrated amplifier features a hybrid design that combines the best features of tube and solid-state audio. The result is an attractive amplifier that uses the best of these two opposing audio philosophies, reproducing music at the highest level of quality.
An all-analog design, the McIntosh MA352 features a tube preamp section that includes a pair of 12AX7A tubes and a pair of 12AT7 tubes. The transistor output stage is capable of delivering up to 200 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers or 320 watts per channel into 4 ohm speakers. Dual dial gauges provide an accurate readout of power output for both speaker impedances.
McIntosh MA352 has 2 balanced XLR and 3 unbalanced RCA inputs, as well as 1 phono input with adjustable loading for MM heads. Gold-plated speaker terminals are resistant to corrosion and provide high-quality signal transmission to the speakers. The McIntosh MA352 has a preamplifier output for the ability to connect an external, more powerful power amplifier. Also, the mentioned output can be used to connect 1 or 2 active subwoofers.
The McIntosh MA352 features the most proprietary technologies including Power Guard®, Sentry Monitor™, McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsinks™, High Drive headphone amplifier with Crossfeed Director (HXD®), 5-band analog tone control (each band is adjustable by ±12 dB) , pass-through for inclusion in a home theater system, power management, and data ports.
The McIntosh MA352 is housed in a stainless steel case that is polished to a mirror finish. Vintage McIntosh-style die-cast aluminum badges are attached to each side of the unit. Blue backlit arrow indicators, control knobs, backlit logo and black glass front panel with direct LED backlighting complement the manufacturer’s recognizable corporate identity.
