The McIntosh MI502 two-channel amplifier delivers 500 watts of Class D power for your home theater or audio system.
The McIntosh MI502 uses closed-loop digital switching technology and fault-tolerant power supplies. The MI502 can be configured to power the front left and right speakers in a home theater system or two in-wall subwoofers. A pair of amplifiers can drive the home theater’s three front channels plus one subwoofer.
You can also use multiple MI502s for a distributed home audio system, since the device is rack-mountable in a 2U height and does not require noisy cooling fans. Also on board is a 12-volt McIntosh Power Control starting system. The rear panel of the MI502 features a pair of balanced and unbalanced inputs for connecting to preamps, as well as a pair of standard McIntosh five-pin terminals for connecting loads.
The front features iconic McIntosh styling, including two blue wattmeters that display the power output of each channel, while multi-color LED indicators show the status of each channel. There’s also a black glass front panel, backlit McIntosh logo, and a familiar form factor with silver trim.
