SMSL introduces the AO300 , a versatile Hi-Fi device that functions as a DAC, amplifier and headphone amplifier. Powerful and high quality, it combines high-end components: the MA5332MS Class D amplifier chip, the CS43131 DAC chip and the XU316 XMOS USB interface. These components allow you to decode PCM 32-bit 768 kHz, DSD up to DSD256 and MQA files. In terms of amplification characteristics, the AO300 is capable of delivering up to 2x165W into 4Ω and 2x85W into 8Ω with a THD+N of just 0.003%. Being versatile, it has extensive connectivity options, including Bluetooth functionality, an HDMI ARC input port, and a subwoofer output for 2.1-channel audio. The front panel features a balanced 4.4 mm Jack headphone output and a 6.35 mm Jack output.
SMSL has integrated an HDMI ARC input port so you can enjoy high-quality audio playback using your TV as the audio source. Added to this is a subwoofer output, allowing you to turn your Hi-Fi installation into a 2.1-channel system and achieve an immersive effect with an active subwoofer. Thus, the SMSL AO300 can be used as a small home theater amplifier.
SMSL takes it one step further by building 8 equalizers and 5 filters into the AO300 to customize the tone and sound quality to suit your preferences.
AO300 is equipped with a Bluetooth receiver chip and supports high-definition codecs such as aptX HD and LDAC. This way, you can easily use audio sources such as your smartphone for remote use.
The AO300 comes with a fully functional remote control. It includes basic play/pause/previous/next functions, volume control, as well as menu access and source selection.
