Audio-Technica has launched its latest wireless in-ear headphones today. These earbuds have a lightweight design and come in four versions.
The new ATH-SQ1TW2 is smaller and lighter than its predecessor. Playfully designed with a compact square shape, the ATH-SQ1TW2 are available in four stylish colours, namely Jet Black, Pure White, Navy/Red and Forest Green, allowing users to choose between a splash of colour or chic minimalism.
Claimed to be based on decades of groundbreaking audio expertise, the ATH-SQ1TW2 are equipped with exclusive 5.8mm drivers. For gamers, social media users and movie lovers, the low latency mode offers an enhanced experience, playing videos and games with minimal sound delay. This ensures accurate and rapid responses to game effects and movie soundtracks, greatly enhancing the immersion.
Multipoint pairing ensures seamless transitions between different devices, allowing users to stay connected to two sources at the same time. This prevents them from missing calls while listening to music on their laptop. In addition, the easily accessible environmental control functions allow ambient sounds to pass through the earbuds. The hear-through function promotes constant situational awareness, while the talk-through function filters out outside noise as desired.
According to the designers, the ATH-SQ1TW2 deliver effortlessly crystal-clear hands-free calls, even when using just one earbud. Optimally placed and tuned microphones help to cancel out ambient noise, including wind noise, while the Audio-Technica Connect app offers a sidetone feature that allows users to hear their own voice for more natural-sounding conversations.
Users can listen to up to 6.5 hours of non-stop music on a fully charged earbud, plus an additional 13.5 hours from the charging case. The ATH-SQ1TW2 are therefore well-suited for both short commutes and long-haul flights. With soft silicone earbuds available in four sizes, the earbuds feel comfortable during every journey.
The charging case can be charged wirelessly or via USB-C, and has transparent notches in the lid so you can see the earbuds inside. The water-resistant design (IPX5 rating) makes it easy to keep the ATH-SQ1TW2 clean and safe in their compact charging case.
