Beyerdynamic has unveiled three new wireless headphones at the IFA in Berlin. The in-ear versions Amiron 100 and Amiron 300 and the over-ear wireless headphones Aventho 300 are equipped with the latest ANC technology and a precisely functioning chassis. Delivery will start in October and November in a black or white color, depending on the model.
Beyerdynamic Amiron 100: wireless in-ear headphones
The new in-ear headphones Amiron 100 have powerful drivers, use modern codecs (LC3, AAC, SBC) and offer active noise canceling, according to the designers. The ANC transparency mode gives the wearer a third choice: a smart mix of music and sounds from the outside world.
The low weight of 4.15 grams per earpiece (without earpiece) and a choice of five silicone earpieces in sizes XS to XL ensure pleasant comfort and a secure fit, even during the wildest dance routines. Particularly practical: when you take out the headphones, the music pauses and starts automatically when you put them back.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 including LE audio, the headphones connect quickly and with low latency thanks to the LC3 codec. This also works with multiple devices at the same time. During calls, a total of six microphones pick up your own voice and filter out annoying background noise, even in noisy environments. And the best part? The music fun only stops after 8 hours (6 hours with ANC) – but only for a short moment. The charging case has another 19 hours of battery life in store. If there is still a shortage, the Amiron 100 can be charged for 15 minutes in the charging case and you can listen to music or podcasts for another 3 hours.
The Amiron 100 costs just under 180 euros and will be available from November.
Beyerdynamic Amiron 300: wireless in-ear headphones
Equipped with powerful drivers with a diameter of ten millimeters and high-quality codecs (LDAC, AAC, SBC), the Amiron 300 in-ear headphones offer optimized high-resolution sound for sound purists. Whether during an intensive workout or relaxing listening to music on the couch, Amiron 300 fits perfectly according to the manufacturer thanks to its ergonomic design and feather-light weight of only 4.4 grams per earpiece (without earplugs) and allows for hours of carefree music listening. As with the Amiron 100, silicone earplugs are available in five sizes from XS to XL.
In addition to a strong ANC including transparency mode, the Amiron 300 also has multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 and an automatic start-stop function when removing or inserting the in-ears. Six high-quality microphones enable interference-free calling and excellent speech quality. The Amiron 300 delivers a battery life of 10 hours (7 hours with ANC) and another 28 hours in the QI-compatible charging case. Thanks to fast charging, 10 minutes in the charging case means 2 hours of music enjoyment.
The Amiron 300 will be available from October for just under 250 euros.
