FiiO FT1: Dynamic headphones crafted from premium American black walnut

FiiO FT1 is the company’s new dynamic closed-cup headphones. The FIIO FT1 headphones are equipped with cups made of selected American black walnut of FAS grade. The smooth texture of the wood, unique to each cup, emphasizes its natural beauty. Dense wood effectively reduces resonance inside the cups and minimizes standing waves. The version with beech cups is expected to go on sale in October 2024.

60mm Dynamic Driver
FIIO FT1 features a new second-generation 60mm dynamic driver, specially designed for FIIO’s first closed-back headphones. Its larger size improves energy conversion and creates powerful bass. In addition, the large driver reduces low-frequency resonance, delivering deep bass and dynamic sound.

Nano Fiber Composite Diffuser – The Art of Sound
The FIIO FT1 diaphragm is made of carefully selected paper fibers from Northern European spruce, known for its purity of sound. The fibers undergo a process including soaking and boiling, and then carbon fiber is added. The 0.1mm thinness of the diaphragm ensures lightness and strength. To improve the performance of the diaphragm, lightweight PU material is used for the suspension, which improves the flexibility of the diaphragm and increases the density of the sound.

Cutting-edge Technology and Innovation
As FIIO’s first closed-back headphone, the FIIO FT1 uses a new technology – W-shaped suspension. The 25mm coil has an effective vibration area increased by 25.8%, allowing it to store more energy. The rigid dome and flexible suspension ensure minimal loss and distortion, producing clear sound.

Ultra-thin Japanese CCAW Coil
The FIIO FT1 earphones are equipped with a Japanese CCAW coil with a diameter of 25mm. The long copper wire improves efficiency and response, providing clear and comfortable sound. Each coil fiber has a diameter of 0.035mm, and the coil frame is made of lightweight KSV material, which reduces the overall weight of the diffuser and improves response speed.

Closed-back Design
As FIIO’s first closed-back headphone, the FIIO FT1 is equipped with components to reduce ambient noise up to 26dB. It is suitable for various situations, whether traveling, office work or gaming.

U-Shaped Sound Isolation Tube
The FT1’s U-shaped tube enhances passive sound isolation and increases bass by changing the length and angle of the sound passing through.

Conical Diffuser Plate
The conical plate allows the diaphragm to be parallel to the ear, reducing high-frequency loss and delivering high-quality Hi-Fi sound.

32Ω Sensitivity
The FIIO FT1 headphones have an impedance of 32Ω and a sensitivity of 113 dB/Vrms@1 kHz (equivalent to 98 dB/mW@1 kHz). This reduces the power requirement of the source and allows you to enjoy excellent sound quality.

3-Axis Adaptive Headband
