xDuoo has released the new TA26S , the successor to the classic TA26 tube headphone amplifier . The main improvement we get is the addition of a 4.4mm balanced headphone output along with the standard 6.35mm single-ended headphone output. Most new headphones now have a 4.4mm jack and this update will help users use their headphones with the TA26S using a balanced 4.4mm connection.
The xDuoo TA26S uses a high-performance 6N8P tube in the preamp stage, delivering a rich, smooth, warm tone for vocals and instruments. The buffer stage is equipped with a high-efficiency 6N5P vacuum tube, which makes the sound soft and gives it a charming touch.
xDuoo TA26S uses high quality professional grade components such as resistors and capacitors. This allows the amplifier to reproduce clear sound with low distortion. It has ultra-low total harmonic distortion (THD+N) of less than 0.1%. xDuoo has equipped the TA26S with high quality gold-plated RCA ports. It has a powerful headphone output with a power rating of up to 500 mW into 300 and 600 ohm impedance loads. TA26S is suitable for headphones with impedance from 60Ω to 600Ω. The xDuoo TA-26S is equipped with an RCA Aux line output on the rear panel of the amplifier. Users can easily adjust the volume using the volume wheel on the front panel. This allows the TA26S to be used as a preamp for powered speakers or power amplifiers.
