Bluesound has launched three new Node streamers. The existing Node has been renewed, but the Node Nano and the Node Icon are completely new. The latter has a large color screen on the front. All three are members of the Bluesound ecosystem and have the BluOS software on board.

Bluesound expands Node family with Node Nano and Node Icon

Bluesound today introduced the Node Nano, Node, and Node Icon, featuring redesigned hardware and rich new audio features. The Node Icon is the new flagship in the Node series. A sleek, compact streamer, the new Node Nano is the perfect entry-level streamer, offering only the essentials. The Node is a reimagining of the original wireless hi-res music streamer, featuring an all-new ESS Sabre DAC chip for ultra-clean processing and even better performance. The flagship Node Icon sets a new benchmark for wireless music streamers with a beautiful five-inch color display and a dual mono DAC design powered by two ESS Sabre DAC chips.

“Since 2013, when we first introduced the Node, it has been our most popular and beloved product, with more customers choosing it than any other hi-res music streamer. Today marks the next chapter in our mission to bring high-fidelity sound to everyday life,” said Matt Simmonds, Product Manager at Bluesound. “By creating a family of Node streamers, we can reach more music listeners with hi-res streaming, providing a great entry point for customers and an advanced step-up option for those serious about their audio.”

Both the Node and Node Icon feature THX AAA headphone technology, which the manufacturer claims is the most linear response technology for headphone amplifiers. The patented feed-forward error correction delivers exceptional sound with remarkably low noise and distortion. The Node and Node Icon are equipped with a 6.35 millimeter jack plug, and the Node Icon has separate left and right connections so that a suitable headphone can be connected symmetrically. The Node Icon also has an XLR output so that long cables can be used to connect to an amplifier or a set of active speakers.

Bluesound Node Nano, Node and Node Icon: prices and delivery information

The Node Nano, the smallest of the three, is available now for 349 euros. The Node, the middle one, is already available for pre-order and costs just under 600 euros, in both black and white versions. Shipping is set to begin on September 24, 2024.

Finally, the Node Icon can be ordered from October 17, 2024 and deliveries will begin on November 15, 2024. The Node Icon will change owners for just under 1,100 euros.
