ddHiFi has released a new portable DAC and headphone amplifier, the TC44Pro E2 . Powered by two CS43131 DAC chips and two ES9603Q amplifiers.
“Eye”, the second generation
of Eye, is a wired version of the USB DAC Amplifier dongles from ddHiFi. The design has only one interface, and the shape resembles an eye. The Eye’s second-generation wires are made entirely of shielded sterling silver conductors, similar to the entire 07 series of sterling silver conductors used in the TC44Pro E2, providing strength and durability as well as sonic resolution and detail.
Tuning, not just high power
The TC44Pro E2 uses two CS43131 decoding chips and two independent ES9603Q op-amps. The power rating of the chips is higher than that of the TC44Pro, and the output amplitude is limited to 80% to ensure overall listening comfort.
Use of materials to enhance sound 4.4
The jack uses a 4.4mm Pentaconn plug from NDICs, and the PCB is designed using a two-layer layup process and hand-assembled using lead-free solder containing 3% silver. The top of the socket is complemented by a reinforced metal ring, beautiful and protective.
