The Gold Note DS-1000 MKII offers high-resolution digital inputs for converting native PCM audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz via coaxial S/PDIF and TOS optical inputs. It also features one USB host input for converting PCM and DSD 64/128/256 audio files. It also reads data from HDD and USB flash drives (FAT32) via USB without the need for onboard memory. The DS-1000 converts audio files from all digital sources using optical and coaxial inputs, and can also convert computer audio files using the USB port.

While the Gold Note DS-1000 MKII comes standard with a digital volume control, audio enthusiasts will appreciate the optional high-quality PGA-powered preamp card with one resistor and two mono for better performance and audio clarity. An analog balanced stereo input is also available as an option and allows the DS-1000 to become a truly complete preamplifier.

The Gold Note DS-1000 MKII features easy setup with proprietary Apple iOS and Android software for full control via iPhone and iPad, as well as smartphones and tablets. The app allows you to easily manage all digital inputs, displaying all metadata, artwork and information registered on the track, as well as the real resolution format.
