Gold Note has launched a compact integrated amplifier with analogue and digital inputs that also features full streaming functionality. The new IS-10 comes in three different colours and also features a headphone jack.

The IS-10 is the new all-in-one from the Italian Gold Note . The IS-10 is a compact but powerful integrated stereo amplifier that can deliver 90 watts into eight ohms and 140 watts into four ohms. The device has a DA converter with an AKM AK4493 DAC chip on board that supports PCM music signals up to a resolution of 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. A 6.35 millimeter jack headphone jack is mounted on the front.
The IS-10 can also function as a monoblock in combination with a PA-10 EVO amplifier. The output power is then 280 Watts at eight Ohms.
All that is needed is a set of passive speakers. A complete streamer is built in and is Roon Ready, compatible with Tidal, Tidal Connect, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, Deezer and vTuner (internet radio). Network connection can be made via wired Ethernet or WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity is also supported.
The user can also play music from a NAS or USB storage medium. Operation is via the GN Control app on a smartphone or tablet, available for iOS and Android.
The IS-10 has two analogue RCA line inputs and three digital inputs (2 x optical and 1 x coaxial RCA). The dimensions are 200 x 80 x 260 millimetres (W x H x D) and the IS-10 weighs four kilograms.
The price has not yet been announced.
