The HiBy R4 portable audio player fills the gap between the ultra-compact non-Android R3 series and the Android R5 series of portable audio players. HiBy R4 features a new signature design in an industrial-grade cyborg-style form factor and bright color accents. The new product is equipped with four audiophile-grade ESS Saber ES9018C2M DAC chips, which allow decoding audio material in PCM format with parameters up to 32 bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. R4 also supports MQA format. At the same time, HiBy R4 is characterized by a low level of distortion and a high signal-to-noise ratio.
The high-quality DAC section is complemented by an amplifier operating in pure class A. This is the first player in its price category equipped with such an amplifier, which is implemented on four OPA1652 operational amplifiers, two OPA1612 operational amplifiers and 16 transistors. The HiBy R4 is capable of delivering up to 525 mW of output power when driven into a 32 ohm load with a balanced connection. To connect headphones, the player offers both a balanced 4.4 mm jack and an unbalanced 3.5 mm jack.
The HiBy R4 portable player is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and runs on Android 12 OS. Like other Android players from HiBy, the R4 supports system-wide Bit-Perfect Audio technology, so you can Enjoy high-resolution audio in a variety of applications. The player is equipped with a 4.7-inch touch screen and supports two-way Bluetooth with high-resolution codecs.
