The iBasso brand is broadening its mid-range music player lineup with the launch of the iBasso DX180 player. This new model will be taking over from the well-liked DX170 in the company’s lineup. The fresh product showcases a new design, DAC chips, and many other enhancements. iBasso DX180 is a sleek and user-friendly music player running on the Android platform, capable of decoding high-resolution audio files.

The iBasso DX180 portable player utilizes four 32-bit high-resolution CS43131 DAC chips from Cirrus Logic. With a dedicated USB processor, this new device can decode PCM signals up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512. It also incorporates iBasso’s FPGA Master 2.0 architecture.

The iBasso DX180 player’s switching arsenal includes two output ports for connecting headphones – an unbalanced 3.5 mm minijack output and a 4.4 mm balanced output port. The maximum output power of the model is up to 690 mW per channel when using a balanced connection and up to 281 mW per channel through an unbalanced output port. The player runs on Android 13 OS and supports several multimedia applications on the device. The iBasso DX180 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The front panel of the player is given to a 5.0-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1080p.
