iBasso has announced a new player, the DX300MAX Ti.
IBasso will release the DX320 MAX TI in a limited edition of just 888 units worldwide! This brand new version showcases a different look, compact in design, yet exuding strength and elegance thanks to numerous manufacturing details.
Otherwise, the DX320 MAX TI shares the superior internal architecture of the standard and X edition, but this time using 4x BD34301EKV DACs . A high-end digital music player, the iBasso DX320 MAX TI thus features an extremely neat design designed to deliver the best sound for an exceptional music experience. Powerful and feature-rich, the DX320 MAX TI is the ideal companion for listening to music at home or on the go.
Four-channel ROHM BD34301EKV DAC
Four RHOM BD34301EKV DACs provide the iBasso DX320 MAX TI digital-to-analog conversion stage, for a total of 4 channels of conversion. These combined channels allow the DAC to have a fully balanced conversion circuit while improving its sonic performance.
FPGA (FPGA)
DX320 MAX TI hides an FPGA master at its heart, specially designed for these models. Its role is to reconstruct the audio data transmitted by the SoC to maintain a clean and stable signal. In combination with two Accusilicon femtosecond clocks, it generates and perfectly synchronizes clock signals. In short, it delivers dramatic jitter reduction for exceptionally clean digital audio.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor
The built-in 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor delivers incredible power to efficiently process audio signals and ensure smooth navigation within the device interface. This SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (ROM) (expandable via a Micro SD card not included in the box).
Dual Battery and Independent Power Supply for the Amplifier Section
The DX320 MAX TI’s power stage incorporates two independent batteries. The first is responsible for powering the digital stage, and the second drives the headphone amplifier. This separation of power supplies allows, in particular, to limit possible interference between digital and analog circuits in order to minimize the level of distortion.
Additionally, the amplification section is powered by an 8.4V battery. No voltage amplification is used, ensuring clean and maximum current output. The optimized Class A discrete amplifier circuit eliminates transistor switching distortion and heat generation.
Multi-Step Potentiometer for Volume Control
A perfectionist, iBasso, after much research, has managed to miniaturize the concept of a multi-step potentiometer, usually found in high-end amplifiers, to be integrated into the DX320 MAX TI portable DAP. This allows you to adjust the volume without creating noise and control the sound of channels with a difference of only almost +/-0.1 dB.
