The Magnat company presents the DAB+/FM Internet streamer Magnat MMS 730. The new product from Magnat is classified as High End. According to the company, it will provide particularly accurate digital-to-analog conversion with low noise levels, thanks to a high-quality DAC from Wolfson (model WM8740).

The Magnat MMS 730 streamer is quite versatile. With it, a full variety of Internet radio, streaming audio from Spotify or via DLNA is available, and multiroom functions are also promised. Magnat Streaming’s own application is designed for convenient management of network functions.

In addition, the device also has a USB input, supporting USB drives up to 8 GB with the FAT 16/32 file system. They can play MP3 and WMA files with demonstration of ID3 tags. On-board Bluetooth version 5.0 supports Qualcomm aptX HD technology. The system includes an FM tuner with RDS and an automatic scanning function. A digital DAB/DAB+ tuner with station search function is also available. Up to 40 programmable stations can be stored in the memory of each of the two tuners. The new product has two digital outputs: optical Toslink and coaxial. There is also an analog RCA output.

All functions of the Magnat MMS 730 are available from the included remote control. A redundant power supply is provided for low power consumption in standby mode. The DAB+/FM Internet streamer Magnat MMS 730 has a durable all-metal body with a polished aluminum finish with a black finish, on legs with a damping rubber insert. The front panel has a two-line text display with adjustable brightness in three levels.
