The Marantz AV 10 is designed and manufactured by Shirakawa Audio Works in Japan and tuned by Shinichi Yamauchi, Marantz Audio Master.
Marantz AV 10 supports all immersive surround sound codecs, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro 3D and IMAX Enhanced. AV 10 includes support for 4 independent subwoofer outputs, allowing independent delay and level adjustments, as well as equalizer. Previous models, such as the AV8805, support up to two independent subwoofer outputs. This is an incredibly useful feature for those who want to integrate 4 subwoofers into their system to achieve the best bass performance across all listening seats. Improved room correction with full DIRAC support in addition to Audyssey MultEQx support.
This is the first time a product supports both room correction systems. The user can use a combination of Audyssey and DIRAC. Marantz AV 10 supports the latest technology on all HDMI inputs and outputs. ARC (Audio Return Channel) or eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) makes it easy to play TV audio through your AV processor with just one HDMI connection. eARC delivers HD and 3D audio such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby Atmos, while ARC is limited to conventional 5.1ch or PCM audio formats. The Marantz AV 10 uses linear power supplies with a toroidal power transformer and Marantz HDAM designs. A good linear power supply has some advantages in terms of reliability and dynamic power. But the eventual transition to SMPS is inevitable to achieve the highest level of efficiency and small form factor benefits in Class D amplifier design.
With HEOS built-in, the Marantz AV 10 AV processor can wirelessly stream music to compatible HEOS components from a variety of free and premium streaming services. You can also enjoy your favorite music wirelessly in any room of the house. Play the same song in each room, or choose different songs for each connected room using different streaming sources.
