Marantz ND8006 is a symbiosis of a CD player and a network player of the eighth series in one case; unlike last year’s CD player CD8005, the new product does not have the SACD disc format. The Marantz ND8006 is designed to meet all the demands of the modern digital music listener, combining features that would typically require two or three separate audio components.
Based on the successful Marantz NA8005 and Marantz SA8005, but with a complete rethink of features and design, it combines a CD player with a digital source hub, playing from your home network, local USB storage, online sources such as streaming services and the Internet radio, HEOS support and DAC functionality allowing direct connection to computers and other devices. It’s also future proof, accepting file formats up to 11.2MHz Quad-DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM, and has Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth functionality for playing music from portable devices.

USB-B operates in asynchronous mode to support not only 384kHz/32-bit high resolution, but also DSD 2.8MHz, 5.6MHz and even 11.2MHz formats for maximum performance and the most direct way to enjoy great quality. To protect quality when connected to a computer, Marantz has built advanced isolation around the USB-B input to eliminate the possibility of high-frequency computer-generated noise entering the ND8006. Additionally, the front USB port accepts USB storage or hard drives for playing standard music files.
Featuring Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless streaming technology, the Marantz ND8006 features an advanced dual-antenna transceiver system for reliable streaming even in congested urban environments.
