The McIntosh MIP200 Power Controller offers a compact, rack-mountable surge protection solution designed to safeguard systems from overvoltage, lightning strikes, and network short circuits, while also minimizing electromagnetic interference and general noise. In the event of excessive voltage, the MIP200 automatically disconnects the power outputs located at the rear, remaining off until the voltage returns to a safe and normal level.
The device features four rear connections for system components, with three of these equipped with a power switch that simultaneously powers them down when the MIP200 is turned off, while the fourth connection remains powered regardless of the MIP200’s status.
Users can adjust the delay settings through the MIP200’s menu, which is accessible via a small display that indicates the status of connected contacts, voltage levels, current consumption, and available current.
The MIP200 is has a retail price set at €4,000.
