The Chinese brand QUESTYLE has launched two new portable USB DAC/headphone amplifiers showcased at CES 2024 – the M15i and M12i. These second-generation devices replace the M15 and M12 models.
Featuring a digital-to-analog converter built on the ESS ES9281AC chip, the amplifiers are equipped with proprietary patented CMA (Current Mode Amplification) modules, and the control chipset is powered by the energy-efficient TOREX Power.
The main distinction between the models lies in the number of amplifier modules and headphone outputs: the M12i offers a single 3.5mm output with one amplifier module, while the M15i model boasts two outputs (3.5mm and 4.4mm) with corresponding CMA modules. Additionally, the older M15i model features an advanced USB processor, enabling it to accept PCM signals up to 32-bit/768 kHz.
Both devices feature aluminum cases with transparent glass panels. The suggested prices are $129.99 for the M12i and $229.99 for the M15i.
