SMSL has released a new desktop digital-to-analog converter with preamplifier function, SU -X .
The DAC section of the model is built on a dual ES9039MSPRO chip from ESS Saber , which supports conversion of 32-bit/768 kHz PCM signals and native DSD512 stream . The device also provides full decoding and conversion of MQA files .
To connect digital signal sources, there are coaxial and optical inputs, an AES/EBU input, USB-C and USB-B ports, as well as an HDMI port for the I2S format. Analog outputs are represented by a pair of unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR.
The model also has a built-in Bluetooth 5.1 adapter that supports LDAC and aptX HD codecs . The delivery set includes a remote control. The dimensions of the device are 250 x 51 x 217 mm , weight – 2.7 kg .
