Earlier this year, Shanling introduced the Shanling M5 Ultra, signaling our return to more straightforward devices utilizing the MTouch system, emphasizing an unwavering commitment to high-quality music playback. Today, Shanling has unveiled the M1 Plus, a more affordable and compact counterpart to the M5 Ultra.
Featuring the latest MTouch system on the Ingenic X2000 processor, the M1 Plus offers our standard generous feature set. This includes bi-directional Bluetooth V5.2, two-way USB connectivity, 3.5mm coaxial SPDIF out, Wi-Fi for DLNA/Airplay and smooth local playback with the option to expand via MicroSD cards. Following the bolder, more modern design of the M5 Ultra, the compact aluminium and glass body measures 86 x 61 x 17mm and weighs just 116g. The 3.2” screen strikes the perfect balance between touch control and a compact size for everyday use.
The audio circuit is based around an ESS ES9069Q DAC for dynamic and detailed sound, accompanied by a pair of SGM8262 amplifiers that deliver up to 660mW @ 32ohms to adequately power even full-size audiophile headphones. Balanced 4.4mm jack and standard 3.5mm jack for easy compatibility with all headphones on the market.
