Vincent’s Tube line line of compact devices has been expanded with the CD-200 CD player, made in the “midi” form factor. The transport mechanism uses the time-tested Sanyo DA11 in combination with a Philips servo drive, and proprietary software guarantees excellent reading of CDs.

The digital signal is converted to analog via a Burr-Brown PCM1796 D/A chip, and the analog signal is then processed using two 6N1 tubes, with each channel using independent filtering, amplification and buffering.

A stable power supply is very important for a CD player, it contributes to the formation of a dynamic and open sound, so the transformer has two independent windings – to power the digital and analog parts.

The Vincent CD-200 player can be connected to a modern amplifier either via RCA analog outputs or via optical or coaxial digital outputs. Included in the package is a high quality aluminum remote control that can also be used to control the Vincent SV-200 amplifier. The model is available in 2 finishes – black and silver.
