The Vincent Audio CD-S1.2 hybrid CD player is equipped with a Philips transport mechanism with a classic front tray (plays CDs and HDCDs) and a USB port, through which the player can serve as an external DAC for a computer – the new product has a Burr-Brown PCM1796 circuit (24 bit/192 kHz). The output decoupling of the built-in preamplifier (this is what makes the player a hybrid) is made using two 6N16 tubes. At the same time, the new product is made entirely according to a balanced design.
The player’s harmonic distortion is 0.003%, dynamic range is 100 dB, channel separation is 90 dB, frequency range is 10 to 20,000 Hz (+/- 0.5 dB), output voltage is 2 V. The power supply is built-in, it uses a toroidal transformer . In addition to USB, the player has coaxial and optical digital inputs, and the outputs are analog balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, coaxial digital and a headphone output. All connectors are gold plated.
There is an adjustment of the output signal level. The device can be integrated into a smart home system using RS 232 trigger input and output. The delivery set includes a control panel. The new product is presented in two colors: black and silver.
