The Tube Line of the German brand Vincent has received an update: the company has developed a new digital-to-analog converter, the DAC-7, putting considerable effort into achieving optimal digital signal conversion results. Two optical and two coaxial inputs, as well as USB and AES/EBU inputs are available for connecting digital signal sources. The signals are decoded by the AKM AK4490 module. The USB input accepts signals up to DSD256/PCM (32bit/384kHz), while other ports are limited to DSD64/PCM (24bit/192khz).

The signal from the CPU is output completely symmetrically and is also processed in the analog section. An independent filter circuit and buffer are used in each channel. To ensure the best sound parameters, only components from specially selected manufacturers are used (WIMA, Nichicon, etc.).

A toroidal transformer with double winding is used as a power source. One winding powers the analog section and the other winding powers the digital section. This ensures clean power to both zones, eliminating any interference and improving dynamics. To stabilize the voltage, a 6Z4 kenotron is used.

The converter is equipped with a tube output stage. Two 12AU7 tubes work directly in the signal path, making the sound more natural and thus significantly improving its perception. If necessary, the tube output stage can be switched to the FET output stage by pressing a button on the front panel.

The Vincent DAC-7 comes with a high quality aluminum remote control. The DAC is available in 2 finishes – in aluminum housings in black or silver.
