The Denon AVR-S760H 7.2-channel AV receiver can handle 8K resolution and is equipped with seven discrete high-current amplifiers that deliver 140 W per channel into 6 ohms and can handle even 4 ohm speakers. The receiver supports major object-based 3D sound formats, including DTS:X and Dolby Atmos in 5.1.2-channel version. DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology are available to simulate the sound of dedicated Atmos speakers or in-ceiling speakers in 5.2, 7.2 or 2.2 channel systems that are not equipped with such speakers.

The Denon AVR-S760H receiver is capable of playing audio files, incl. HD formats FLAC, WAV and ALAC up to 24-bit/192 kHz or DSD (2.8/5.6 MHz), which are stored on local network computers/NAS servers or external drives connected to front USB. A web connection provides access to various streaming services, including Spotify Connect, Tidal, TuneIn, Deezer, etc. The receiver supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the AirPlay 2 protocol, which opens up possibilities for wireless multiroom installations based on Apple devices.

The Denon AVR-S760H feels confidently part of the HEOS ecosystem, which goes wireless and controls all HEOS devices through one app. You can transfer an audio stream from tablets/smartphones, online services and local networks to such devices directly from the application. You can play the same song in different rooms with perfect synchronization or specially selected tracks for each individual room.

The Denon AVR-S760H model supports “communication” with personal assistants Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which open up the possibility of voice control of the receiver. You can also control it in the traditional way using a remote control or an application. To configure the receiver, use the intuitive Setup Assistant program. The Audyssey MultEQ system algorithm is used to auto-calibrate the speakers. Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ technologies are also used to optimize volume and frequency response.

The Denon AVR-S760H receiver has six HDMI inputs, three of which support 8K Ultra HD/60 Hz, HDCP 2.3 and HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG video standards. There is an HDMI output with support for an extended eARC return channel, which allows you to transmit 3D audio (Dolby Atmos, etc.) to the receiver directly from the TV panel. Among other switching, one can highlight the presence of an MM phono stage input. To connect speaker systems, seven pairs of screw terminals, designated in different colors, are used.
