Dolby Atmos and DTS:X let you project sound anywhere in 3D space, with effects moving from speaker to speaker throughout the room and surrounding the audience as they watch the latest movies and games. With 11.2-channel pre-out and 11-channel processing, you can enjoy 3D sound through a 7.2.4 speaker set (external 2-channel power amplifier required), or use the built-in amplifiers for 5.2.4 or 7.2.2 configurations. Watch classic movies through your height-enabled system using Dolby Surround® or DTS Neural:X, which extracts height signals from old soundtracks and further downmixes them for spatial playback.
When playing back recordings in any Dolby format, you can use the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer, which provides greater immersion in the sound field by creating virtual surround and height effects from traditional speaker sets without the need to connect height speakers. Vocal Enhancer technology solves the problem of hard-to-hear dialogue in television programs and films. The DSP algorithm isolates speech frequencies so you can raise or lower their levels using the buttons on the remote control or the front panel controls.
