Acoustics Olympica Nova from Sonus Faber now in piano lacquer

We have already talked about the Olympica Nova  family of acoustic systems from the Italian company Sonus faber , which was introduced three years ago. And now the manufacturer offers these speakers in a new black piano lacquer finish . In addition, as before, you can choose walnut and wenge wood finishes. The Olympica Nova series includes seven models of acoustics: three floor-standing, bookshelf, two variants of the center channel speaker, as well as a wall-mounted model of home theater rear channels.

The speaker cabinets are made of eight-layer profiled plywood, and the top panel is made of solid wood in a metal frame. The bass reflex port, made using Stealth Ultraflex technology , is made of aluminum. The pedestals of floor models are also made of winged metal.

The high-frequency spectrum is served by a soft dome tweeter with a diameter of 28 mm, made using DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology , and a neodymium magnetic system. Bass drivers are equipped with cones in which a layer of syntactic foam is sandwiched between two layers of cellulose pulp. The mid-range drivers are inherited from the Homage Tradition acoustics series, in which the cones are made from a mixture of cellulose and other natural fibers.
