The Danish company Buchardt has opened pre-orders for the new compact active subwoofer SUB10, delivery of which is expected in June.
The subwoofer machine is equipped with a long-throw 10” driver, the rectangular body is only 16 cm deep, which makes it easy to place under a sofa or against a wall. The amplifier is digital on Hypex modules with a peak output power of 1.2 kW or 400 W RMS. Wireless connection is carried out according to the WiSA standard, there is also a Bluetooth interface for a mobile application, which is used to control the built-in DSP and the functions built on it for correcting room acoustics, manually controlled equalizer, changing the cutoff frequency of the filter, etc.
The body is made of MDF with a thickness of 19 mm. Dimensions 490 x 320 x 160 mm, weight 14 kg. The pre-order price is €1150, after the start of shipments in April it will increase to €1300.
