Canton Sound L: Soundbar with a stylish appearance and excellent sound

Canton Sound L
Canton Sound L

Three equalizer presets on board the Canton Sound L provide easy sound adjustments to optimally adapt the sound deck to the three most common setups. At the touch of a button, Canton optimizes for the freestanding Canton Sound M installation with a wall-mounted TV (EQ1), for installation with a TV on the DM Soundbar (EQ2) or for placing the soundbar in a rack (EQ3). The bass, midrange and treble can also be adjusted using the small remote control to optimize the sound to your taste.

Four thin 100mm woofers work as a subwoofer at the bottom of the cabinet. To provide stereo and surround sound, there are two 50mm midrange speakers and a 19mm tweeter in a horizontal D’Appolito arrangement, located on the left and right of the front panel.

The three-digit multi-function display lights up briefly each time a command is entered and allows you to control the front surround system. During operation, the display turns off. To control the sound deck and TV with just one remote control, Canton Sound L can learn the infrared code of the TV remote control. The 2.1 Virtual Surround system offers a lip sync function, can reduce the volume difference when the dynamic range compression function is activated, or improve speech intelligibility with the timbre function.

The automatic on/off switch detects the presence of signals on the optical or coaxial digital input and automatically starts the Canton sound deck after the source device is turned on. After the source is turned off, the Canton Sound L goes into standby mode after about 30 seconds. The Canton Sound M has basic Dolby Digital and DTS decoders on board, and is acoustically configured as a triphonic. If the power or bass depth of the built-in subwoofer is not enough, you can connect an external subwoofer using the low-level output. Connecting to the signal source is extremely simple: analog RCA, optical or coaxial inputs.

If you need a speaker system for your TV with a stylish appearance and excellent sound, you should definitely check out the Canton Sound L. It is easy to use, looks better than its competitors, and the sound quality is the best in its class.
