The largest of the compact models is the Canton Vento 30, which delivers more power from its relatively small body. They offer great dynamics, sound exceptionally neutral and balanced, and impress with their elegant design and excellent workmanship. The Canton Vento 30 builds on the outstanding technical properties of our newly developed titanium-graphite diaphragm actuators. Featuring matte, shimmering titanium-graphite diaphragms, the speakers exude understated elegance. The drivers fit seamlessly into the glossy lacquered baffles without any visible screw connections. The latest generation of wave surrounds, capable of particularly large excursions, provide deep bass and high power. The new driver technology builds on previous titanium drivers by treating the surface with a complex chemical process and taking acoustics to the next level. The goal was to minimize or completely eliminate partial vibrations that damage sound. While weighing less, the new titanium-graphite chassis is stiffer and has better shock absorption. Particularly impressive is the fact that these drivers exhibit no partial vibration throughout the useful and crossover ranges. In addition, the new drivers operate as perfect piston transducers and thus provide ideal conditions for one-to-one reproduction of acoustic signals without loss.
New speaker cabinets not only look great, they also have to meet our high specifications. Changed body radii and a new basic shape provide less sound interference from the body itself. With a variety of available cabinet finishes, the contemporary and timeless elegant Vento loudspeaker models are at home in many interior design styles. At the same time, the bodies of the new Vento meet the highest standards of workmanship. The perfect surface finish of the multi-layer lacquered Vento models gives the speakers a particularly elegant and sophisticated look.
The speaker terminals in the new Canton Vento 30 have been redesigned both visually and technically to ensure maximum conductivity. The solid screw terminals, available in single-wire or double-wire versions, depending on the Vento model, hold cables up to 10 mm2 and offer the option of handling speaker cables with banana plugs or plug jumpers. The upgraded terminals are made of special high quality and conductive material, with new terminals and finer threads. As a result, we also achieve reference contact in the Vento series for perfect sound reproduction and long-term stable contact with connected amplifiers. The innovation of the Vento series continues with high-quality fabric covers. If necessary, they hide the direct view of the technology and are held on the partitions using powerful magnets. Straight panels at the top and discreetly curved panels at the bottom create an unobtrusive, calm appearance. Thanks to their flat design, the acoustically neutral fabric panels fit harmoniously against the partitions.
The Canton Vento 30 are manufactured from multi-layer laminate in several separate stages and bonded internally several times, resulting in very durable and low-resonance cabinets: ideal for superior sound reproduction. In addition, intelligent cabinet damping and select crossover components of the highest quality optimize the sound performance of the 36cm and approximately nine-kilogram speakers. Each sleek bass reflector enclosure features a 174mm titanium-graphite woofer delivering clear bass. Thanks to Wave Bead technology, Canton Vento 30 tracks acoustic signals quickly and accurately. The 25mm dome tweeter with aluminum oxide ceramic diaphragm makes the Vento 30 a full-range speaker.
