At the High End Show 2024, scheduled to commence on May 9 in Munich, Göbel High End is set to unveil the latest addition to their product line – the innovative Divin Comtesse compact floor-standing loudspeaker systems. Göbel High End expressed their excitement for the upcoming release by stating: “After extensive research and development, we are proud to introduce the Divin Comtesse, a compact floor-standing speaker designed to cater to customers with limited listening space without compromising on sound quality, technology, or design. This model embodies the exceptional sound quality, unique technology, and design elements that define our Divin Series loudspeakers, now available in a more compact form.”
The Göbel Divin Comtesse acoustic systems feature a traditional three-way configuration with a phase-inverted acoustic design. A Mundorf AMT ribbon tweeter in an aluminum waveguide handles the high-frequency spectrum, while mid frequencies are managed by an 8-inch driver. Bass is delivered by another 8-inch driver. The compact body has dimensions of 100 x 30.6 x 45 cm, and each speaker weighs a substantial 75 kilograms. The operating range spans from 28 Hz to 28 kHz, with an acoustic sensitivity of 89 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms.
Like every other Göbel High End product , the new Divin Comtesse is the product of the best German engineers, executed with absolute passion in every detail and entirely manufactured in Germany. The recommended retail price of the new product in Europe is 59 thousand euros for a pair of speakers.
