The Harman/Kardon Citation Tower lets you listen to music in multiple rooms by adding additional Citation speakers to fill your entire home with music. You can play the same or different music in different rooms and control it from your tablet or smartphone.
Depending on your preferences, you can create any system from the Harman/Kardon Citation Bar: from a multiroom for a multi-room apartment to a 5.1 system for a home theater. The entire line is made with the most sophisticated listeners in mind; the design in two colors is also excellent: the cases are finished with special moisture- and fire-resistant material from the leading European textile studio Kvadrat.
Harman/Kardon Citation Tower can be used not only in stereo mode, but also in various multi-channel configurations with other speakers and devices from the Citation series, for example, with a subwoofer or soundbar. To control speakers and other related components, you can use the Google Assistant voice assistant. At the top of the main speaker (primary) there are touch-sensitive volume control buttons and a color touchscreen display that displays album covers and allows you to make all the necessary settings. It is possible to set and save presets (favorite playlists, direct access to web radio, etc.). The primary speaker is equipped with switchable microphones to implement the voice assistant function.
The speaker systems use a pair of 4-inch mid-range drivers, between which there is an inch tweeter, and an 8-inch woofer built into the floor of the cabinet transmits the low-frequency band. Each speaker has a 200 W amplifier.
Harman/Kardon Citation Tower is equipped with Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) and is controlled/configured using the Google Home app with support for the Google Chromecast protocol for Wi-Fi access to numerous online streaming services (more 300 services, including web radio) with the ability to broadcast a signal in a resolution of up to 24 bit/96 kHz and organize a wireless multiroom installation. In this case, you can transfer specific music to a specific group of components with Chromecast support or the same track to all such devices. The model also supports WiSA technology, which allows you to organize a wireless home theater based on active speakers (without using an AV receiver) with the ability to send an audio signal in a resolution of up to 24 bit/96 kHz at frequencies of 5.2–5.8 GHz with minimal latency.
