The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 is the top-of-the-line soundbar in the Flexus series, featuring a 5.1.2 surround sound system configuration. The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and features two 2.25-inch full-range upward-firing drivers, two side-firing drivers, and four forward-firing drivers. Four 4-inch woofers provide the low-frequency foundation, allowing the Klipsch Flexus Core 300 to deliver powerful bass in a relatively compact package.
Additional connectivity includes wired and wireless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, Ethernet, HDMI (8K pass-through), HDMI eARC, USB-C, digital optical input, and subwoofer (RCA). Klipsch’s new Connect Plus app for iOS and Android devices provides access to input selection, EQ presets, firmware management, and includes controls for a comprehensive offering of streaming options including Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify, and Tidal Connect.
The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 is the world’s first soundbar to feature Dirac Live room correction technology. Powered by patented technologies, Dirac Live is the market-leading room correction solution, automatically addressing common acoustic issues that all home audio systems have but that hardware alone cannot address—or that require too much time, expertise, or expense. The affordability of Dirac Live, in turn, helps democratize access to high-quality audio in any listening space, no matter how complex the room.
The software is unique in that it corrects both the amplitude and phase of the entire sound system, including the room itself, resulting in more transparent, balanced sound, tighter bass, improved staging, and increased clarity. With listening habits changing and rooms in every home now functioning as listening spaces — for music, movies, TV, games, and podcasts — room acoustics are becoming more challenging than ever before. Dirac Live helps manufacturers address these issues by delivering improved audio capabilities for every type of sound system — now including soundbars.
Use the included microphone with the Klipsch Connect Plus app for iOS and Android to initiate Dirac setup. Use the in-app wizard to perform a quick calibration that works for most situations. For those who prefer more advanced setup, use the Dirac Live Room Correction app for iOS, Android, Mac, or PC with the included microphone or a dedicated calibration microphone sold separately. The Dirac Live Room Correction app offers advanced users a variety of options for in-depth calibration.
The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 soundbar has built-in support for the Limited Bandwidth version of Dirac Live Room Correction, with the ability to upgrade to the full version in the future with a $99 license from the Dirac website. Limited Bandwidth can correct up to 500 Hz. Dirac Live Full Bandwidth is more comprehensive, allowing correction across the entire frequency range.
In addition to the Flexus Core 300 soundbar, Klipsch is offering the new Flexus SURR 200 wireless surround speakers with upward-firing drivers for immersive Dolby Atmos multi-channel surround sound. Simplifying setup and convenience, each Flexus Surround satellite only connects to a power outlet—there are no cables between the components of your home theater system.
In addition to the soundbar and wireless surround speakers, Klipsch also announced the Flexus SUB 200 wireless subwoofer. The new product features a 12-inch driver designed to deliver deep, powerful bass. It is possible to connect up to two SUB 200 subwoofers to any of the Flexus Core soundbars.
