Magnat Monitor Reference 5A
Magnat Monitor Reference 5A

The Magnat Monitor Reference 5A model has two 6.5-inch drivers, with which it produces up to 60 W per channel, and an inch dome tweeter operating in the range of up to 40 kHz. The declared lower frequency limit for the Magnat Monitor Reference 5A models is 28 Hz.

The active acoustic system Magnat Monitor Reference 5A has a two-channel class D amplifier with a total power of 120 W and other electronics in the left column. The manufacturer tried to equip the acoustics with all the interfaces for working with modern signal sources. As for the finishing options, Magnat promised that there will be no problems with the choice: Magnat Monitor Reference 5A is available only in classic black, with a matte front panel and textured veneer.

The Magnat Monitor Reference 5A has an HDMI input with support for the Audio Return Channel (ARC) and CEC functions. All signals are transmitted from the TV directly to the speakers using the Audio Return Channel (ARC) via the HDMI cable. The same is true for other components connected to the TV. This could be a satellite/cable TV receiver, a gaming console or another device – but as soon as you select the desired input on the TV, the sound in films, series or games acquires a full range of frequencies. And thanks to the CEC function, which provides control of the system via the HDMI port, you can adjust the volume using the TV remote control.

Conventional analog and digital inputs are also not forgotten. In digital, the Magnat Monitor Reference 5A acoustics accept a signal with a resolution of up to 24 bit/192 kHz. In addition to the usual linear signal, the analog is also represented by the input of the built-in phono preamplifier for MM cartridges. In the wireless version, the Magnat Monitor Reference 5A speakers will be able to use the built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, and support for the aptx Low Latency codec will allow you to watch videos without desynchronization of the audio track.
