Upholding the legacy of Dutch design, the Groningen-based firm Noble & Noble proudly introduces its premier model: the Nobilis Sonum 126 active speakers. The Nobilis Sonum 126 represents a fully integrated, cutting-edge speaker system, featuring all essential components such as Class D amplifiers, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), and a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), all housed within the speaker cabinet. Rob Meijst, the designer behind the Noble & Noble Nobilis Sonum 126 active speakers, has meticulously considered not only the cabinet, electronics, and software but also the interconnections among the various components to ensure optimal performance.
A key technology employed is the patented Vibration Cancellation System, which effectively eliminates undesirable resonances. The Nobilis Sonum 126 active speakers feature a design that significantly reduces distortions at the cone’s tip, aided by the Inert Ring. The tweeter is isolated, and a meticulously crafted waveguide is utilized. Each speaker is equipped with its own amplifier, and the digital signal processing (DSP) ensures that the signal remains in digital form until it is finally converted to an analog signal for driving the units.
The speakers are equipped with accessories to ensure proper installation. They are suitable for all types of flooring, including wood, marble, and carpet. While they are available in a sleek black matte finish, other colors can be requested through special order. Each speaker measures 126 x 25 x 38 cm and weighs 40 kg. They can achieve a maximum sound pressure level of 116 dB, and the cost is 31,000 euros for a pair.
