Teufel has introduced a new iteration of its active bookshelf speakers – the Stereo M 2. The updates are quite substantial. Both monitors now come with individual amplifiers and receive signals wirelessly. The streaming subsystem incorporates support for Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Google Chromecast technologies. Network connectivity is facilitated through Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and the speakers also feature a Bluetooth adapter, 3.5mm analog inputs, RCA and digital optical inputs, along with USB-C. The only notable absence is the HDMI ARC connection.
The system is 3-way with bass and midrange drivers of a larger caliber than the previous model. The tweeter is installed in the acoustic axis of the midrange speaker.
The declared frequency range is 34 – 22000 Hz. The amplifiers operate in class D and develop a total power of 250 W peak.
In the brand’s online store, the new product is sold for €999.99. There are two design options: white or black.
