The Velodyne Impact X Serie 10 subwoofer delivers powerful explosions from movie soundtracks as well as rich music. It uses a large driver with a diameter of 25 cm. Its paper diaphragm provides the perfect combination of lightness and rigidity for optimal control. To enhance speaker performance, the Velodyne Impact X Serie 10 subwoofer uses a dual vented cup design combined with a dual ferrite magnet and an extra-large 52mm voice coil. This design provides high efficiency, short ramp-up times and very high impulse response.
Controls and Remote
The rear panel of the Velodyne Impact X Serie 15 subwoofer features a volume control, variable crossover frequency from 50 to 180 Hz, 0° or 180° phase control, and auto-on. On the front panel of the subwoofer there is a small display that displays the volume level. All controls are accessible remotely using the included remote control, as well as 9 DSP profiles.
Connections
The Velodyne Impact X Serie 15 also has connectors on the rear panel. There is a stereo RCA LFE input and a high-level input. In this way, the subwoofer can be connected to the pre-out or to the speaker terminals of a HiFi amplifier or home cinema. The LFE RCA output also allows you to daisy chain multiple subwoofers. The middle Velodyne Impact X Serie 12 and the bigger Velodyne Impact X Serie 15 models were also released .
