At the High End Show 2024 in Munich, the American company YG Acoustics presented the top version of its flagship XV 3 speaker systems, which received the Signature suffix in the name. Featuring four floor-standing towers, the XV 3 Signature offers an extraordinary level of sound quality, enveloping listeners in a breathtaking soundscape. These speakers are capable of creating large-scale soundscapes, but still convey the smallest details with amazing clarity and accuracy. Most importantly, the YG Acoustics XV 3 Signature evokes that sense of musical involvement that leaves you with goosebumps and the desire to continue listening hour after hour.
The YG Acoustics XV 3 Signature will be released in a limited edition of just eight pairs. Carefully tuned in the company’s R&D center, the XV 3 Signature is so extreme that it was never intended for production. YG Acoustics CEO and Chief Designer Matthew Webster says, “Our goal at YG has always been to push the boundaries of audio technology. The major research project that led to the XV 3 Signature combined innovation in components with a revolutionary approach to loudspeaker design and tuning. The final audition exceeded our wildest expectations.”
The unrivaled performance of YG Acoustics XV 3 Signature speakers is driven by two revolutionary advances. First, it is a breakthrough in capacitor design with a special copper alloy foil and improved dielectric, providing a level of quality previously thought unattainable. Secondly, there is a commitment to perfection down to the smallest detail: each pair of speakers undergoes detailed hand-tuning over many weeks in our R&D center under the personal supervision of Dr. Webster. Through iterative measurements, simulations and auditions, custom crossover components are created for each pair and carefully tuned and matched to provide the best possible performance. Each change is small, but the final result is incredible.
YG Acoustics XV 3 Signature speaker systems are marked with a gold-plated trapezoid plate with the company logo. The crossover board and custom panel on the outside of the cabinet are signed by Dr. Webster and the team responsible for this pair of speakers. Each of the eight pairs of YG Acoustics XV 3 Signature speakers has a suggested retail price of $498,000 (the base YG Acoustics XV 3 model retails for $398,000 per pair).
YG Acoustics is showing off the new XV 3 Signature speakers at the Munich show as part of a system with Boulder 3050 monoblocks from Boulder Amplifiers and cables from Siltech Cables.
