India’s Engineering Beyond Imagination (EBI Audio) has recently introduced its latest MC phono cartridge, Khumar, which represents an unparalleled passion for music and hi-fi. Meticulously crafted in Uttar Pradesh, India, this cartridge showcases exceptional precision and utilizes extraordinary components such as a meticulously handcrafted ebony body, a Shibata III stylus, an Orbray (formerly Namiki) boron cantilever, a soft iron magnetic core, and Neodymium magnets.
The input impedance of the EBI Audio Khumar head is only 2 Ohms, and the output voltage reaches 0.3 mV, which makes the new product a convenient partner for modern phono stages. The cartridge exhibits excellent channel separation exceeding 32 dB.
The first batch of Khumar pickups from EBI Audio will go on sale on July 1st.
