By all indications, the next wireless headphones from Nothing, a company with only 3 products in its portfolio, will be released under a completely different subsidiary brand. Details about a possible headphones were dug up and presented on his Twitter by a well-known enthusiast Kuba Wojciechowski from 91mobiles.
As often happens, a leak was found in the code of the next firmware of the Nothing smartphone, in which, in addition to the well-known Nothing models, there was a mention of “Particles by XO” headphones that do not exist in nature. Further research led to the internal name of the novelty – B154. Comparing it with the similar B155 assigned to the future Nothing Ear 2 headphones at one time, the seekers of truth were even more convinced that they were right.
In addition, there was also an image of headphones shaped like a peanut or a model of a diatomic molecule from a 7th grade textbook (and this analogy corresponds to the name “Particles”). In addition, Wojciechowski claims that the novelty will support the LHDC codec and active noise reduction, in fact, combining two existing Nothing models – Ear 1 and Ear Stick.
Another fact that confirms, albeit indirectly, all these suspicions: last week, the US Patent and Trademark Office registered the trademark “Particles by XO”. Apparently, this decision was made by the leader of Nothing, who in the past was directly related to OnePlus, designer Carl Pei.
