Oppo Find N2 and N2 Flip is the new generation of folding phones from Oppo
As planned, Oppo has presented its new generation of folding phones and today we are here to meet them. With you, the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip , a pair of phones with folding screens that will not leave anyone indifferent.
Oppo Find N2
The Oppo Find N2 is, so to speak, the big brother. This smartphone exhibits the typical notebook design that we can find in other folding phones. Naturally, it has an internal screen that when unfolded exhibits a 7.1-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,792 pixels . Similarly, it boasts a high (adaptive) refresh rate of 120Hz and reaches a brightness of 1,550 nits.
On the other hand, we have the external screen, which is satisfied with a diagonal of 5.54 inches and a resolution of 1,792 x 1,920 pixels . It should be noted that both screens are AMOLED type and support the HDR10 + content standard.
With that said, Oppo claims to have redesigned and strengthened the terminal’s hinge to the point that it can survive more than 400,000 folds over its lifetime.
In terms of specifications and hardware, the Oppo Find N2 is broken down as follows:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
12GB + 256GB / 16GB + 512GB
4,520mAh battery with 67W fast charge
The photographic section is not far behind, and here we can highlight that the terminal is equipped with the following photographic sensors:
Sony IMX890 50MP (f/1.8)
48MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens
32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom (f/2.2)
Meanwhile, the front camera makes use of a 32MP sensor .
Oppo Find N2 Flip
Then we have the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which, as we expected, is a mobile with a “shell” design that competes in the same field as the Samsung Glaxy Z Flip 4 and Moto Razr. Again, the foldable design involves two screens, a large internal one and a more compact external one, which is also limited to basic things like viewing notifications and camera previews.
Going into details, this mobile is committed to a 6.8-inch internal AMOLED screen that folds horizontally like a flip mobile. The panel has a resolution of 1080 x 2540 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Meanwhile, the external screen stays at 3.2 inches and carries a resolution of just 382 x 720 pixels. In addition, the refresh rate borders on the usual (60Hz).
If we talk about hardware, it becomes clear that the Oppo Find N2 Flip is one step below the standard N2. These are its characteristics:
Dimensity 9000+ SoC
8GB + 256GB / 12GB + 256GB / 16GB + 256GB
4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charge
For its part, the photographic section is made up of the following sensors:
Additionally, this model also houses the MariSilicon X chip to improve camera performance.
With all that said, both phones run Android 13- based ColorOS 13 and support the following wireless connectivity standards: 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C.
