Sonus Faber Omnia is a stylish all-in-one hi-fi system

Sonus Faber Omnia is a compact and modern version of a single-body system from the manufacturer of Hi-Fi acoustics, which is in line with the already well-known Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin and Naim Mu-So 2 .

Omnia combines an amplifier and speakers in one housing, has extensive wired connectivity and supports wireless protocols DLNA, AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, aptX HD Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, giving owners easy access to a wide range of streaming services, as well as their own libraries of local or network music. Sonus Faber hasn’t built its own app to control the Omnia, instead encouraging owners to use native apps from music services they may be more familiar with.

True to its name (Omnia means “ready in everything” in Latin), the Sonus Faber also supports external sources such as a TV, CD player or CD player via the HDMI ARC connector on the rear panel and has the option of connecting a phono stage .

Inside the wooden case with a fabric grill in the brand’s signature style (which has a touch control system on the top panel) there are seven speakers – two tweeters with a silk dome, two mid-range speakers with a diffuser made of paper pulp, a long-throw speaker with an aluminum dome, a woofer with a membrane of cellulose, the power of which is 490 W. They work together with Sonus Faber’s proprietary Crescendo processing technology, designed to create a device’s large, wide and immersive stereo soundstage by controlling the phase behavior of the speakers.
