Focal has quietly launched a new product line called Omada. The Omada series features four speakers: a monitor model, two floorstanders, and a centerpiece, and will slot between the existing Theva and Vestia product lines.
Focal Omada

Each model in the new Omada series utilizes Focal’s proprietary driver technologies to achieve the open, balanced sound the brand is known for. The family includes the compact two-way monitor model Omada No. 1, the floor-standing Omada No. 3, the slightly larger floor-standing Omada No. 4, and, finally, the matching Omada Center model, specifically designed for home cinema setups.
While these are new speakers, the Omada models naturally incorporate signature Focal technology, with a design that combines elegance and purpose. The cabinets have clean, modern lines that give them a confident appearance without appearing bulky or overbearing. Each speaker features a high-gloss black finish that beautifully reflects light and gives the series a refined, mirror-like appearance. The front baffle has a gentle curve.

The leather-effect front panel adds visual texture and a sense of craftsmanship. It softens the glossy cabinet and gives the Omada line a warmer, more luxurious look than a typical hard-surface finish. Removed from the front grilles, the drivers, with their slatefiber cones, become the visual highlight. Their marbled texture catches the light differently from every angle, creating a subtle slate-like pattern that reveals the material’s technical character.
The floorstanding models have a slightly backward-slanting cabinet, which improves timing and imaging and anchors the speaker firmly to the floor. The Omada Center has a built-in tilted stand that directs dialogue directly at the listener, making it easy to integrate into a home theater setup.
Focal Omada: TAM tweeter and use of Slatefiber for midrange and woofer

The Omada series builds on Focal’s philosophy of infusing innovation into its most advanced loudspeakers. Many of the technologies originally developed for its high-end models have been carefully adapted here to make exceptional performance more accessible. The exclusive TAM tweeter is a prime example. Built in France, it features an aluminum and magnesium inverted dome with an M-shaped profile for increased rigidity and precision. The urethane waveguide provides a wide listening window, ensuring balanced sound even when the listener isn’t directly in front of the speakers. A rear decompression chamber reduces unwanted reflections, giving the tweeter its clear, open, and natural sound.
Another key component of Focal’s technology is the Slatefiber cone. This diaphragm, developed after years of research, combines non-woven recycled carbon fibers with a thermoplastic polymer. The carbon fibers run in the same direction for improved stiffness, while the polymer enhances damping and control. The result is a cone that is light, strong, and responsive. It delivers fast bass, rich midrange, and excellent overall balance without coloration.
Because each Omada model uses the same tweeter and Slatefiber drivers, they share a consistent acoustic signature. This creates a uniform sound throughout the system, allowing effects and music to flow naturally between speakers in surround setups.

Focal Omada No.1: two-way monitor loudspeaker
The Omada No.1 is a compact two-way loudspeaker that punches above its weight. A 6.5-inch Slatefiber midrange/woofer is paired with a 1-inch TAM tweeter for vibrant, detailed sound that remains smooth. Sensitivity is 89.5 dB, and bass extension reaches 48 Hz at the 6 dB point. An aerodynamic front port reduces distortion and facilitates placement near walls or on media stands. On Focal’s optional tilted stands, the No.1 delivers consistent sound and is at home in small spaces. The Omada No.1 can be used for stereo playback or as part of a multichannel system.
Focal Omada No.3: floor standing speaker
The Omada No.3 is a sleek three-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring three 6.5-inch Slatefiber woofers for deep, controlled bass, a dedicated 6.5-inch Slatefiber midrange driver for clarity and presence, and a TAM tweeter for airy, non-fatiguing high frequencies up to 30 kHz. Its sensitivity is a very amplifier-friendly 92 dB, so a powerful amplifier isn’t needed to achieve a lively and dynamic sound. The frequency response is within +/-3 dB from 42 Hz to 30 kHz, providing strong low-frequency extension for music and movie soundtracks.

Focal’s multi-port Powerflow system features front and rear vents to reduce compression and maintain impact at higher listening levels. Thanks to its tilted aluminum base and included spikes, the Omada No.3 delivers precise imaging and easily fills medium to large rooms, whether as a stereo pair or as the front speaker in a multi-channel system.
Focal Omada No.4: floor standing speaker
The Focal Omada No. 4 is the flagship floorstanding loudspeaker in this line for listeners who demand more authority and headroom. It features two 8.25-inch Slatefiber woofers for exceptionally deep and powerful bass, a 6.5-inch Slatefiber midrange driver for clear vocals and instruments, and the TAM tweeter for effortless highs. Sensitivity remains a healthy 92 dB with a nominal response of +/- 3 dB from 40 Hz to 30 kHz and a -6 dB point at 34 Hz.

The same Powerflow front and rear port minimizes dynamic compression, making crescendos feel open and natural. The aluminum base provides tilt for accurate timing and a solid foundation. According to the manufacturer, the No. 4 is best suited for larger spaces or theater stages where listeners want to experience the full dynamics and presence of a live performance.
Focal Omada Center: center channel speaker

The Omada Center completes the family with crystal-clear dialogue and a seamless timbre that matches the floorstanders and the monitor model. It uses two 6.5-inch Slatefiber midbass drivers flanking the TAM tweeter. Sensitivity is 91.5 dB and the response extends from 58 Hz to 30 kHz with a range of plus or minus 3 dB. The Omada Center also features a tilted base to direct the sound to ear level when placed on a cabinet or open shelf.
Dual rear ports allow the Center to breathe freely, delivering convincing dynamics and volume. According to the designers, the Omada Center delivers clear, intelligible dialogue and smooth transitions to the front of the room, while the larger drivers ensure that voices sound full and natural, just like in real life.
