Dangbei has introduced the upgraded DBOX02 Pro, a new 4K laser projector designed for home theater use. This device operates on the Google TV platform and holds official Netflix certification.
The DBOX02 Pro features Dangbei’s proprietary LaserVibe laser light engine, which provides a brightness of 2000 ISO lumens, enabling video viewing even in well-lit environments. It supports a 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels), HDR10+, and HLG standards, along with a 108% Rec.709 color gamut, ensuring vibrant and precise color reproduction across different lighting conditions and content types.
The image is fine-tuned using InstanPro AI, which automatically manages focus, keystone correction, screen alignment, obstacle detection, brightness adjustments, and eye protection—all in real-time without requiring manual intervention.
The device’s housing features a 360-degree rotating carbon steel stand that tilts up to 120 degrees, enabling you to easily adjust the projection angle without the need for ceiling mounts or a tripod. The projection size can be modified from 40 to 300 inches.
Regarding audio, the projector is equipped with two 12W speakers located within a 600cc acoustic chamber. It is compatible with Dolby Audio, DTS Virtual:X, and HDMI eARC audio technologies, and it also supports Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting wireless headphones and speakers.
For connectivity options, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, LAN, an optical audio output (S/PDIF), and a standard 3.5mm audio jack. Additionally, the device supports WiFi 6 for reliable 4K streaming and can output Full HD (1080p) at 240Hz using MEMC technology for seamless gameplay.
The Dangbei DBOX02 Pro projector is now available worldwide. The price in the United States is $1,599, while in Europe it is €1,424.
