The Planar 6 RS Edition is constructed by Rega Research engineers around a unique, ultra-lightweight plinth with a foam core and HPL laminates. It is designed to deliver performance that is unmatched in this price range. The Planar 6 RS Edition comes factory-equipped with the RB880 tonearm. The platter is made of ultra-rigid double-layer float glass. The included Neo turntable power supply offers easy speed selection, advanced anti-vibration control, and electronic speed fine-tuning.
The Planar 6 RS Edition therefore features an external power supply, and Rega includes the updated Neo Mk2 power supply as standard with the Planar 6 RS Edition. A smoked glass dust cover is also included. Together with the Nd9 cartridge, this results in a ready-to-play and easy-to-operate turntable consisting of carefully matched components.
