Wilson Benesch showcases the Greenwich turntable within its GMT analog platform. Using the patented Omega Direct Drive motor and Alpha Drive electronics, the design shares core technology with the Prime Meridian and GMT One.

Wilson Benesch will present the Greenwich turntable for the first time worldwide at the Audio Show Deluxe , which will take place on the weekend of March 21-22, 2026. According to the designers, the presentation of the Greenwich marks the next step in the evolution of the company's analog GMT platform.

The demonstration will feature a reference system with Wilson Benesch cartridges and loudspeakers , giving visitors the opportunity to experience the Greenwich turntable within a carefully integrated playback chain. The system will utilize the Resolution 3zero loudspeaker, supported by multiple IGx Infrasonic Generators to enhance low-frequency performance and room integration.

The Greenwich turntable is paired with the HSE Masterline 7 phono preamplifier . Amplification is provided by Trilogy, which combines the 995R mono power amplifiers with the Trilogy 914 reference preamplifier .

The Greenwich is the entry-level model in the Wilson Benesch GMT product line, introducing listeners to the same drive architecture that underpins the Prime Meridian and GMT One turntables. Built around the patented Omega Direct Drive motor and controlled by Alpha Drive electronics, the Greenwich turntable shares the fundamental Alpha-Omega platform that defines Wilson Benesch's reference architecture.

This architecture was first introduced with the GMT One turntable at the 2024 High End Audio Show in Munich, Germany (since 2024 in Vienna), creating a new technical platform for analog playback. The Prime Meridian turntable followed, expanding the architecture with advanced structural and damping strategies while retaining the same core drive technology.

According to the manufacturer, the Greenwich now introduces a new phase within that platform. The turntable, designed as the foundation of the GMT architecture, allows listeners to enter the system while retaining the same core drive platform, which remains consistent across the entire range. As systems evolve within the GMT hierarchy, structural and isolation technologies are expanded, while the Alpha-Omega drive platform remains constant.
